Poker Recap
Well, after getting absolutely trashed on Friday night I decided to lay off the beer for Saturday night's poker game. Turns out it was the best thing for me. I played probably my best game last night. It seems that I changed gears at all the right times - I was loose and bluffed when I needed to, and I tightened up when I had to. There were a few mistakes I made against some tight players, but in the end, I pulled down 1st place for $180! I haven't been doing real well in other tourneys this year, but it seems that the NDPT tourneys that Brian and Frank put on have been my cash cow. Thank god, that's for sure. After the game ended Chris, Steve, and I headed over to the Eagles to big farewell to one of our favorite bartenders. Last night was suppose to be her last night, but she called off. Sucks - so GOOD BYE RU! I'm sure we'll see you again. Well, finally getting back to doing some more painting. Thanks to my friend Jason, I've learned the secrets of the trade, mostly. But even as quick and good that I can paint, I still rank it as one of my most despicable chores. I absolutely hate it. I don't know why. Ever hate something that you're really good at? Odd, I know. Well, enough ranting for this post. Back to work tomorrow. Lost to get done before then. Thanks for reading....
